Someone comes here to learn about options to place their child for adoption. Their Question may read "Are people willing to adopt a biracial newborn in dallas texas?" And of course these Q's are asked by a new user that day.
And what do you know.....a Q like this soon follows.
"My husband and I are wanting to adopt a biracial newborn, we live in texas, we are well to do great people and are willing to pay the birth mother expenses, Can anyone help?"
Do you think there are lurkers just waiting for an opportunity?

Additional Details
For instance, today, someome posts that she is considering adoption in Ohio, ans the a few Q's later there are people considering adoption in Ohio.
A few weeks ago, a man askes a Q about placing a toddler with DS for adotpion and soon after someone was looking for a child with DS to adopt.
About a month ago, a girl wanted to know how hard it would be to find parents for her biracial newborn, and what do you know, with in a hour, there was someone looking to adopt a biracial newborn.
You would have to be blind to NOT at least notice the line of question and the pattern.

I think it's lurkers, waiting for someone to say something they think they can jump on. I'm not the only one who has gotten emails from predators who just wait until they think there's some possibility that you might be considering giving up a child. (I wonder how many people here have gotten the "Love, Michelle" emails?) |

Yes, I noticed that as well. I have wondered if they are tag teams, or if they have babies, or they live in Texas. I wonder about a lot of things on here. Mostly, I wonder at how people can dismiss another's experience and trivialize it for their own purposes. That happens a lot. There are some odd things on this board. However, that is one of the things that makes it interesting. |

Its not always a coincidence. Notice the abort/adopt or can an Ap breast feed garbage questions and then 20 new posters immediately pop up. It never fails with those two questions.

When My sist was prego and she came on here looking for advice on what to do (shes a teen and was scared) she wrote about possiably placing her baby for adoption and with in minuets she had 4 emails from ppl offering to do private adoption with her. they even put their phone numbers in the emails! anyways she didnt call them and she got a lot of good answers she ended up keeping her baby and we (my family and her) are grateful she did but I thought it was crazy that so many ppl were willing to take advantage of her when she was down and confused.

I think there are many possibilities for why and how this happens. I have noticed it myself on at least 4 separate, distinct occasions...and those are only the ones I noticed.
I DO NOT think coincidence is among the possibilities. :-)

It is absolutely NOT a coincidence. there are many pap's here who jump at the chance to adopt a newborn and will email the poster who questions placing their child before the first answer is posted. I have also been told by a few women that baby brokers have contacted them to "make a deal". The internet is full of people with their own agendas.
I myself, will jump at the chance at telling her why should consider keeping her baby.

I think that there are people out there who want a baby so badly that they do just about anything. I don't think it is a coincidence that they answered saying that they want a baby - I think they probably always are on the lookout. The coincidence part is that they live in Texas and saw the post. I don't think that the person posting and the answerers planned it or anything. |

I believe these things happen here for two reasons... #1) Lurking Trolls or someone who set the situation up with two different accounts....
and #2) This site is well visited by Search Engine Bots and it's very possible that the New Questions posted appear in a high rank on searchers... so someone posting using the specific name of a State and the word Adoption may have their Question indexed and someone searching may see this on their search quickly.... |

Well I think you have just given people an idea though if they had not thought of it already.
They would have some big explaining to do if they said they were from Ohio but really from Texas.......I hope someone reports posts like that!
