Is it possible to adopt when you have children already?

It certainly is. My wife and I adopted our first one, had a child next and last summer we adopted our third. We are also foster parents in the foster to adopt program and just this morning we were called about a temp foster placement of another infant. I doubt your area has any rules against your having children of your own as well as adopting or fostering. They may have rules regarding how many bedroom and such you need to do it but that is just the logistics of how you are going to do it, not a prohibition against it.

Sure you can, it may even work in your favor. Since you have experience raising children, you would have a more realistic expectations of the situation.

Mom to Foster Children

Yes it is possible. I have an 18 year old a 14 year old and a 7 year old adopted child. Fostering is great - seeing them leave and go back home is both heart warming and sadness all at the same time. We have sent one of our foster children back home twice - and he is not even three years old yet. It was sad to see him go - but on the other hand it was great that his parent stepped up and sought the help and resources that he needed in order to parent his son.

Yes! Of course! I often watch the 'Adoption Stories' on the Discovery Channel in the morning, and that is not uncommon at all!

Yes, having 2 sons already shouldn't matter -as long as you can prove that you have space and income for another child.

Yes. My aunt and uncle had two sons and they adopted a chinese baby. She like follows me but she is really cute.
