Is there any other business industry besides Adoption, where child trafficking is socially acceptable?

Is there any other business industry besides Adoption, where child trafficking is socially acceptable?

The buying and selling of children within private adoption is nothing more than legalized child trafficking.
Kids are kidnapped, women are lied to, beaten, coerced, murdered and/or raped for their babies, Aps look the other way to how their money is being spent to fund these crimes against humanity...etc etc.

I was just wondering is there any other industry where this is socially acceptable?

Arranged marriages, indentured servitude (of men, women & children) and child servants/slaves (see: camel jockeys, restavecs, etc.) are, unfortunately still common (and socially accepted) in many parts of the world. These practices are are often "excused" as "cultural differences" but I think exploitation is exploitation no matter how you spin it.

Lindsey there are many many many cultures that find the beating, murder and raping of women accepted. Ever heard the saying "rule of thumb'? Its in reference to English law that allow men to beat their wifes with a stick as long as it wasn't bigger then their thumbs.

Walter not sure if you would consider this "child trafficking." But a lot of third world countries have child sweat shops where they make many products to sale for cheap due to the low cost of labor. Who buys from these sweat shops? Americans, so we basically fund the mistreatment of children. Pretty good huh?

Oh and to who ever said that kidnapped children are returned, doesn't know what they are talking about. In order for them to be returned they have to prove that they were indeed kidnapped. Which is almost impossible when you come from a country that is extremely poor and you are fighting one of the riches country in the world.

That is an interesting take on the adoption system. I don't have answers that will fix the problems, but I do know that if there were no perimeters children would be treated like our thrown away pets. Unfortunately, that is all ready happening all to frequently.

and what are YOU doing to fix the problem Walter Ford II?

So you're saying that my brothers were kidnapped from their mothers in Korea and sold to a duo of criminals who happen to be my parents, even though those kids were poor and would have a better life here (and their adoptions were sanctioned by the Korean government, though it was carried out privately)?

Yeah...I think you're a bit delusional.

I disagree that adoption is child trafficking. End of story.

I don't think its socially acceptable at any time to beat, murder or rape women. I can do a poll but pretty positive it would come back that no one would say that was ok...

And most (normal) adoptive parents- or decent people in general- would not be ok with any of these activities.

And kidnapped children that are adopted have their adoptions overturned.

ETA: Angela, there may be countries where that is acceptable but do we live in those countries?? Its not acceptable in our culture...and its safe to say its not acceptable in 90% of the world's cultures. And I said children who were kidnapped and adopted had their adoptions overturned...and if they were kidnapped then it is usually the agency that is doing this and hiding it from EVERYONE...which would mean that the general population didn't find kidnapping acceptable, right??
