Is there any way I could put myself up for adoption?

Is there any way I could put myself up for adoption?

My father neglects me, my mother never stops crying and only cares about herself and my sister is abusive. (Both physically and mentally) I'm miserable at home but I have no where else to stay. I'm only 15 so I know that I don't have time to get a full time job and be able to support myself alone if I still have to go to school.

Is there any way I could put myself up for adoption? I'm just sick of my living conditions. I need to get out of here...

I have nothing against Christianity, but I am in fact of the Sikh religion so I'd appreciate it if you left Jesus Christ and God out of this. I do so appreciate all the advice though.

Dude, I am 15, too. I have often wondered what I was gonna do, but no, you cannot put yourself up for adoption. You can call children services, tell them your story, and see what happens. I did that, and it helped loads. Just try it, but do me a favor. Don't do anything stupid. No killing yourself, no running away, none of that. Trust me, I speak from experience. Trying to kill yourself doesn't always work, as I talk to you today. Running gets you nowhere, cause you can get really hurt, and it is very dangerous. Just do what you can, call and see where it gets you. Good luck.

You need to have a family to take you in before you do anything. Find someone who will be a foster parent to you BEFORE!!! you do anything.

Because teenagers don't get foster homes. They get group homes that are 100% worse than what you're dealing with now. Group homes are 1 step away from Juvenile Hall. The kids in those homes will steal your stuff, beat you up and get you in trouble.

You need an adult with a job. Preferably with their own kids your age. They need to contact Children's Protective Services (CPS) and apply to be a foster parent.

AFTER THE PAPERWORK IS DONE - call CPS. They'll do an investigation and if they find there's reason to remove you from your parents, you'll be taken to that person's house.

Don't lie. You get caught lying to cops and CPS - big trouble. BIG, BIG TROUBLE!!!

You could go stay with relatives or something. Maybe one of your friends will let you crash at their house for a while?

Good luck.

Three years isn't as long as you think...think about it this way, 15 down...3 to go.

The chances of you going to a foster home at 15 are slim to none. You think being ignored and beat up by your sister is bad? You should see how it is in the system. If it is really that has then call CPS.

Sorry you have to deal with such a terrible family, but you can't put yourself up for adoption. The only thing you can do to get away from them would be to involve children services and that would mean you'd be put into a foster home.

Good luck!

Call social services. They will be able to help you out. Just tell them what you are going through. Though you should know that adoption isnt all that great. They would put you in foster care and you would move from house to house. You would have to prove that your situation is not livable. That you are being abused/neglected. You are old enough to where you should be able to take care of yourself. Not move out but get your own food, get to bed on time, stay clean. You dont need your dads attention to do that.

I'm so sorry to here that your going though all of this just rember that God & Jesus Christ love you and care about you so never give up they are there for you even if you think they aren't they are I promise so just pray and ask for gudince. I don't think you can put yourself up for adoption but you can call social workers and they will put you in foster care or a group home which sadly isn't any better unless you are really lucky and they find a great foster family for you which very very rare trust me so all I can say is pray for guidnce. God bless you and if you ever need to talk just e-mail me

You can. You have to talk to like DCFS or some sort of foster care. They would have to probably talk to your parents and go through a process of things. But, you can do it. Goodluck and I hope everything gets better(:
