Local adoption in singapore?

We live in Singapore and we would like to adopt a baby born in Singapore. However it is hard to find a local baby available for adoption. The adoption agencies only help with foreign adoptions. Has anyone experience with this or does anyone know where to go?

Well I would try being more humanitarian and stop hunting down "babies" by fertile women.

I'm glad to hear that its difficult for you to find one. Look at the big picture...its a good thing.

Have you tried your government social services?

They are more likely to deal with local adoptions than private agencies. Its wrong though that the agencies won't help you adopt a child locally. You should have first preference over someone from another country.

Inndy did you read the question? Shouldn't children be able to be adopted by locals first within Asia.(Like their own country.)
