Looking for my daughter I had to give up for adoption. She was born May 4, 1977 in Northridge, CA.?

My daughter was named Amber Dione and she was adopted out of the Los Angeles County of Adoptions. I don't know if her adopted parents kept her first name but I would really like to meet her. I am hoping I am a grandmother and would really like to explain why the whole adoption took place.

My son (your half brother) has been wondering about you for years and would love to have a sibling and really wants to know you too!

If you are out there, please respond, at the very least I could help you know about your geneology, for your sake and the sake your children.

i know that when you gave your baby up for adoption you knew someone else would be her family. you will replay it in your mind so many times, where is she? does she want to meet me? if i could only find her.....
then what? she has a mother. just remember if you find her it's better to be a friend then try and be a mother to her. she already has what you couldn't give her at the time of her birth. you will have to get to know her and take things slow. don't expect that just cus you are her biological mother she'll let you have any say in her life. i do hope you find her one day, and that she has made a great life for herself and doing well and happy. as far as you being a grandmother her kids will have a grandmother already.... but it would be fun to have 3 grandmas!!! instead of the usual 2.

you go to the hospital where she was born tell them you are looking for babys who were givin up for adoption on may 4, 1977 they will ask you are you a parent seeking a child and they will help you maybe she's still in california best of luck

You might try contacting the adoption agency and asking them to contact the adoptive parents for you. Bear in mind they might not have told her she was adopted, so it might be best to go through them first, if you can find them. Be sure to be polite in your requests, as it could be uncomfortable for them.

Try getting the adoption records, maybe some contact phone numers were left that could help you track her down.
