But you would have to adopt a teenager most likely out of the foster care system. Kids really dont know until probably around 14 for sure if they are gay.

Carol Anne, you are full of you know what. Thats not true. I only have one gay person in my whole entire family. So no it does not run in the family.

first of all how will you know that the child will be gay. you would have to take a child that is mature enough to actually know that he is gay, and then you could just adopt him. its pretty easy i guess

I didn't know Slapette was gay. Anyway, you'd have to adopt a teenager as young children do not know if they are gay or not. Maybe take in a teenager whose parents disowned him/her for being gay. Good luck!

well, you usually don't know if the child is gay or straight until they get older, so unless you are planning on adopting a teenager i don't tink there is any way of going about doing this. good luck though, i hope you find the perfect child for yourselves. =)

good for you... but no child is going to know if they are gay remember they are children and are not quiet sure who they are or what there role is in this world yet... just give unconditional love to the child you do adopt.

umm how does a child know if there gay? you cant force anyone to be gay but you can adopt a child but you have to love them no matter what they want to be! good luck

Most children do not know they're gay unless they're older. You could adopt an older child in their teens. But even if the child isn't gay they can still use your love :)

I'm a little confused unless this is a joke. How old of a child are looking to adopt? Do you expect to be able to tell if an infant or toddler is gay? Are you especting to adopt a teenager? Are you trying to adopt a child who you "think" will be gay? Are you hoping you can influence the child to be gay? Are you looking to adopt a child who is likely to be gay so you can create a home for the child that will be a positive place? I don't see how you can "find" a gay child, any more than you could find a straight child.

But you and your partner can not really adopt a gay child ... unless they are old enough to know if, they themselves, are gay ... you cant expect to just go and adopt a child and rise them to be gay ... it does not work that way ... i know to gay people that have adopted and they have very beautyful kids and they are not gay ... just go through a diverse agency and adopt any kid. any kid u adopt will be so gay (gay means happy) because they have a home.
