My parents are adopting and...?

There's a person coming Monday for a homestudy to survey everyone . What kind of questions should I be expecting ?

yeahright
They'll ask how you feel about it. Our social worker outlined different situations that adopted children find themselves in with siblings etc and asked my son how he would approach each of them. They also asked him about us....what types of parents we were and who did what in the family. They asked about rules/punishment/chores and how they grew up etc.

They asked about likes dislikes and general questions about them that had nothing to do with adoption too.

Myla
they will look around to make sure the house appears safe, clean and well furnished for the child.. they will ask general questions about how you feel about adoption, how you get along with other children, what types of activities you enjoy, how the schools are. they basically want to know what being a child in this family is like.

im not sure yet im in your shoes at the time

gibberish
Just tell the truth darling and you will be fine.
