Need avice on passing homestudies?

Hello everyone.
My name is Benny and I need advice on how a single male can pass a home-study. I would love to adopt a couple foreign children preferably teenage boys since I'm single. I have a warm home waiting for children.

I've been lurking here for a couple days and a few people stand out to me. If Suzy Sunshine or Kristy can recommend any agencies I would appreciate it. The quicker I get started the better.

If you can't pass a homestudy just by being your wonderful self, you have no business adopting.

But I'm sure those two lovely ladies will come through for you, being as pro-adoption as they are.

To pass a homestudy you should be honest about your intentions, and let the social workers do their job.

On the off chance this is a serious question, or some lurker is wondering the same thing, homestudies aren't something you "pass." It's about the real you, and your real home, not about telling the social workers what you think they want to hear. The best thing you can do is be as honest and upfront as possible.

Our local department of human services has a list of all the requirements that have to be done in order to adopt children. There are many older kids that need adoption, and some are specially marked for single men because of their abuse history with women, or their need for a strong male role model.

There are so many kids here that need adoption, especially older kids. You can google "adoption photolistings available children" and pull up a bunch of non-profit agencies that help kids get adopted.

It is harder for a single male to adopt, especially from overseas, because many agencies strictly require married couples. Also, I'm often mistrusting, and if you're here to find victims for strange things, may lightening strike you. Hopefully, that's not the case.
