Need someone to help with adoption in africa????

looking for help with a friend of mine she is Africa american and she is going to have a baby and she is wanting to do a private adoption and she wanted to know if there is anyone who can help with this she does want a great family for her unborn baby and would like to see if anyone can help please don't be rude and say this is not the place to find a family cause i think it is there are really a lot of people out there that looks at this site for adoption so don't even be rude but i would like to help her find that great family out there so please help me help her and the baby.i would take the child and adoption it but i can not afford the travel.so if you can help please let us know and tell us about you and she will then go to her lawyer and she what he thinks this will go thur the courts thanks for your help.....she can't keep the baby due to her husband and she can't afford the baby

If she is your friend, perhaps you can move her AND the baby in with you so that she doesn't have to lose her precious child. If she cannot keep her child "due to her husband" then I would be worried about her safety as well.

Be a real friend and get her AND her child out of a potentially dangerous situation, and keep a family together.

Ok, is she an African American...in America? Or is she African with the baby in Africa? If she's in Africa then there isn't much you can do because she has to go through an agency in her country that works with agencies in the US to do an international adoption.

If she is in the US just tell her to contact a local adoption agency in her area and they will help her set something up. It's not as though you just find parents waiting to adopt and do it all yourself.

What country in Africa is she living in? Is she a native of that country? A refugee? Assuming you are not in Africa, she must have some money or she would not be able to be in contact with you, or have a lawyer. So I'd really hope you could help her to find a way to keep her baby.

Also, as far as I know, this cannot really be a private adoption, at least not to the US. There would be a real danger of the child never being allowed to be a US citizen or even enter the country, so she would have to be very careful. Lawyers would at least have to be involved, and in almost all cases an agency that worked with her particular country would be needed. Both countries have very specific laws and big problems could result if they weren't all followed. It really isn't as simple as finding a family, especially not for international adoption.

Tell us more about her country and situation and maybe we can figure out someone for her to contact for support for her family. She should not have to lose her baby because they are poor -- that would be so sad!

ETA: If she really is African American (i.e. US citizen) and living in Africa then it is possible that her child would be born a US citizen (depends on the father's citizenship, how many years she has lived in the US vs abroad, etc.). If so, then a private adoption might be possible. But I still think you should try to help her and her husband keep their baby.

She should have not got pregnant or at the first signs of being pregnant she could have had an abortion. I know that is killing someone but then she wouldn't have the problem of giving birth, seeing the baby and giving the baby away. She should also leave her husband if he is the cause of ther loosing her baby. I am adopted so i know about this. Anyway hope all goes well
