When i got my adoption papers, i found out that my adoption wasnt legal. What can I do about it. Also what would you do about it.

Go to the media.... they seem to becoming more receptive and abit more ballsy when it comes to reporting truth about adoption etc etc..

Then contact your local member of government then contact the place that the adoption occurred and get some answers.. record it all... but do not tell them... and you don't have to as long as your using it to "supplement your notes"...((coughs))

Is this the adoption OF you or an adoption in which you were the adopting party? If it was the adoption of you and you're now an adult, quite honestly these are usually left intact (since there's already an order) unless one of the parties (first parents, adoptive parents or adopted person) petitions the court in which the adoption was granted to have it reversed on the grounds that it wasn't done legally.

If this is an adoption of a child where you are the adoptive parent, or if you are the first parent, you need to talk to an attorney.

Adoption papers for yourself or someone you placed for adoption? Not legal in what way? How? You need to provide more info if you want to do more then stir up people emotions around here.

"First, They didn't have to be there for you, they choose to be there for you."

I thought the parental role included feeding, clothing and sheltering. Plus love and care. Why does an adopted child need to be any MORE grateful than what any non-adopted child is appreciative of?

Because that's what a parent DOES. And I will quote from my blog:

~*~
"But isn't any proper parent expected to do that? Isn't any parent willing to wipe the bum and clean up the vomit at 2a.m.? That parent doesn't necessarily want to wipe the bum and clean up the vomit, but it's what they do because they're the parent and that's what parents do - *because parents love their children.*

It's like saying “If a mother loves her child, she'll feed that child.â€

Isn't that abusing the privilege of being a parent in the first place, using the status of parent to expect a lifetime's worth of gratitude for something that the parental role would usually require by default?

I'd get in touch with other people who have discovered this horrifying truth. I hope the links below help a little. I wish you the best and I'm sorry:

Is it that you are adopted or you placed a child for adoption?

First ask yourself, Did my "parents" feed , clothe , and care for me , as best as they could given what life has thrown at them?
If the answer is anything other than a " !!! H_LL NO !!!", then count yourself lucky, and remember two things. First, They didn't have to be there for you, they choose to be there for you. Second, true family is not always the people your genetically linked to.
If the answer is " H N", Then have them arrested for kidnapping and sue they for millions of dollars for pain and suffering and separation and loss of Identity <joke>
What really matters is Are you content with who YOU are Not who your related too,So sit back, think, and smile.
