You can see photo listings of children in foster care needing adoptive homes at http://www.adoptuskids.org
You should bear in mind, though, that these kids may have special needs beyond what's mentioned in the descriptions because of privacy concerns, so if you're serious about adoption, you should actually talk to a state social worker about the situations you're prepared to accept.
Photo listings only get you so far. Actually talking to a state worker is more helpful. |

It is through social services. To check on any one of them, you will have to go through social services. They will help you out, and it is either low/no cost.

Some jurisdictions do have sites with photos and bios for children awaiting adoption through foster care (like the link below) but without more info as to where you are I doubt you will get a useful answer. |
