No, it was to private and personal. We did have an opportunity to be part of a 'feel good' Christmas show and have our first meeting meeting filmed but at the end of the day we had our reasons for not - mine was I didn't want loads of people involved in that meeting and I wanted it to be special. |

No, I wish. I have a pic of her and her dad and I at the first meeting in 2001, but I have a whole binder of emails and letters, starting with the first one I wrote her and the one I sent to the adoption agency. I have about a years worth. It's painful and wonderful to reread those letters. |

To be honest, I've been considering this issue since there are so few transracial adoptees who blog about reunion and what it's like to meet your own blood kin face to face.
But on another note...
I wouldn't want the rest of the world to see me in such an emotional mess. So, I don't know. |

I 2nd Maybe's answer. It was way too private and intense when I met my brother (just 3 weeks ago, as a matter of fact) and it would have been very intrusive to both of us. It is a private memory I will cherish for the rest of my life, and Im so happy he is so amazing to me. I do have pictures later, though. |

No way. Far too intense and private, I would never videotape something of that emotional magnitude. |

Nope, and there was no way I would have done something like that. I was a mess, my first mom and sister were a mess too. I remember it extremely vividly. It took place at my appartment, they felt I should be in a place where I was comfortable. |

No, but not because of any real personal reasons, we met at the International Airport, so private was out. Basically I don't think either of us thought of it. I know I didn't. |
