An adoption journey is not easy...tensions run high & nerves get strained. it won't, however, magically stop once the baby comes. You should work to get some counseling (marriage and/or family) now so you can learn new techniques to create a happier more functional family to bring the child into.
When the honeymoon is over & adoption related stress comes into the picture, it will add stress to the marriage again. The travels will also add stress. Get your marriage as healthy as possible and work hard to keep it that way.
Invest in some marriage books, go to a marriage conference, seminar or retreat, find another couple who has been there/done that & see if they will mentor you, get in front of a counselor who you trust to give you good advice. |

You need to assess your relationship with each other before bringing a child in. If you think that the fighting is JUST because of the stress of not knowing, you should contact the social worker that did your home study. If there are other underlying issues, you might want to postpone the adoption until those issues are settled. |

It all depends on how you bring up the baby and when you get the baby. Dont worry you will get the baby and when you do it will be the happiest day of you lives. |

Sometimes when adopting a baby people are all about money . I hope that your case is different get eveything in writing and I will be praying that everything is fine for you and that you get your baby. |

Its up to the people involved. Will they continue to fight? Will they want to fight? Depends on how much they want this baby to have a stress-free, fight-free environment. |

Congratulations, even an adopted child can provide the same happiness a biological one does, but you better hurry up. Russia is in the process of closing international adoptions, I thought they already did but if you can adopt one, then I guess it isn't official yet. |
