A place where foster/abandoned children live together. It usually has one big room with about 20 beds in it. Its a place for you to stay until they find you a foster family.

where is everybody?

kind of depends. sometimes it's for children or adults who have problems that make them unadoptable. sometimes it's where teens go because they don't have anywhere else to put them. some group homes are good, some horrible. the state funds those homes.
