Like, I know seniors are now dominant in the USA and that Hispanics are the fastest growing race in the USA, but how about adoptees? Are the numbers of adoptions growing or slowing in the USA?

What is the average age of all adoptees in the USA?
According to adoption agencies, and all the adoption professionals making money off of the sale of babies:
Adoptees are perpetual children. They live in never-never land and never-ever grow up. They are infantilized by the agencies and the laws....referred to as (ungrateful) adoptive children for life. Therefore, I would imagine that the average age of existing adoptees is between newborn and forever. |

According to the aps around here and the way they talk down to adoptees who voice their experience, we're all three and a half.
In cat years that makes us about 24 and 1/2. |

International adoptions doubled from 1991 to 2001 from 9,050 to 19,237. But since a high in 2004, international adoptions have decreased to 17,433 per year.
There have been no reliable statistics published for domestic adoptions since 1992. But the number of woman who place a child for adoption in the US has been declining since 1973 (Roe vs. Wade). More and more woman are choosing either to abort or raise their children.
So the answer to your question is: slowing. |
