try whitepages.com. its free. if he is in the book he will be there. otherwise, you may have to pay a fee. i found a lot of "free search!" sites when i was looking for my birthfather. sure the search is free but you have to pay for the results.

also try classmates.com. my birthmother found him through a mutual friend on there.

good luck, email me when you find him. i met mine about a month ago and i was a nervous wreck, but come to find out he is fantastic. i love him already. i will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope it all goes well.

www.adoption.com
international soundex registry (out of utah, you mail them, and they can hook you up, if the other lists themselves there too.)
Does your mom remember what agency you were adopted out of? If she does, go and register with them, they might be able to give you more information.
http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/ (death records) hate to look, but, you never know. You'd have to know a little more information, mainly because you'd have to know birthday to match up.
Good luck. It can be done!

The mormon church has one of the largest name-data bases in the world. We found my husbands family thru ancestry.com with the help of a search angel. She really did all the leg work. Get a pertinent information together including names, birthdate, place of birth and anything else that might help identify the person. But, beware..... they might not want to be found ! You don't know this until you try but don't expect to welcomed with open arms.

excellent information, have a look at your birth certificate find all the names on there witnesses, and look at your mum wedding certificate or ask who was at the wedding, these names can often have some in site. what did he work as , what did he do, look through the date insurance look at companies that hired him. go to www. friends united , go to www.salvation army they charge about £40 for the trace.

http://www.zabasearch.com is a free site to search for people and it is great.

ISRR.net is the largest but get your name down on as many registries as possible. If you give me the State you were born in I can give you the names of a few state-specific search and reunion sites

If you have his name and city let a search angel guide you - they know the ropes.

I can run a name through a few databases if you want to contact me privately - I can't promise anything but I am happy to check it out for you

Good luck

to be up front and real with you the first thing you need to do is have your dna tested and i promise you after you get the results back from your dna take the results to vital records in your area or a health department or even social services and they will help you from there and i know your probably thinking this is the stupidest thing you have ever been told but trust me i know from experience honey!! if u try it and don't get the info you need i want to know because the advise i have just givin you is no lie or a joke i'm seriously trying to help you

Tsunami
