I would guess that most of them find homes. An infant is a hot commodity in the US adoption industry commanding prices upwards of $40,000-$60,000 if the baby is a healthy white infant.

It's not a tracked statistic. No one tracks how many births are relinquished, nor is there a statistic of how many are removed from parental care either. So then to wonder how many of an untracked population then is adopted or placed into foster care is even more of an impossible thing to guess.

I'd have to say most of them.. Especially healthy ones. Most people who wish to adopt want to adopt a baby as young as possible...

Probably 95%% or better

Close to 100%. There are more people wanting to adopt than there are babies. Special needs children are even adopted in most cases, but maybe not if the problems are severe enough. It is older children in the foster care system who have a harder time finding permanent homes.
