I don't know about trying to get my account suspended, but yes, I do think they are trying to get certain viewpoints silenced. |

Well, it really depends on what kind of questions you have. I tried to look at your questions but you have them private. You have the right that if you feel your question was sincere then you can send it to the board to review it. |

i think so. Some people are just small like that. |

I guess if they can't rationally attack the rationale of the question or other answers they will attack the questioner.
It's the lazy and childish way to "win". |

yes i think so. there are some people on here that come on to either ask questions to get a big reaction, insult people with their answers or just report things to annoy. you might have answered someones questions and they took offence but most likely it is a bored idiot. im assuming your questions are not violating anything. |

That could be one reason. Or they just might be busy bodies who take themselves way to seriously. Or they just don't like someone so they try to be as annoying as possible. There's one or two in every crowd. You know, like the neighbor who reports you for honking the horn in the am, or playing music too loud. Some people are "small" and they like the power it brings. |

I've never thought about that. My questions and answers tend to get deleted if there's any emotion in them. I always just figured people couldn't handle seeing real, raw emotion coming from someone who's supposed to support the notion that emotion only happens if it's "allowed" (quoting an AP there). I never thought they might be trying to get my account suspended, but I can be pretty sure that they are trying to get me to tone down the emotion. I don't think anyone cares much whether I am able to post here, they just want me to be less emotional about it. Which isn't going to happen. I'm an emotional person, and I didn't get permission from my parents to be this way...what makes people think I'm going to ask cartoon-faced strangers on the internet for permission to be me? |

Yes. It has happened to me, as you may know. I appealed the suspension and was told it would NOT be reinstated.. I appealed again, listing three people from THIS forum whom I think were constantly reporting me due to personal dislike. Guess what.. BAM.. as soon as I list the names, my account is completely reinstated, like it was never suspended. Think I might have hit the nail too close to the head?
This needs to stop..
ROTFL.. this question got me thinking about how long ago it was that happened.. Maybe it's time to change the "back again" from my screen name, which I added when I was reinstated. LOL...
going to change my name..brb.. lol..
Okay.. I'm no longer "Shelly P. Tofu, back again" now I'm "Shelly P. Tofu, E.M.T" WOOT, I love my new hobby.. |

Yes but its not the only reason.
Some people can't handle the truth....they only want affirmation. |

Could be.
You combat that by making sure that your questions follow the "letter of the law". Don't call anyone out, don't rant, keep it topical, etc. You'll have a better chance of getting your question reinstated that way.
