Does anyone know where I can find more information or even someone that wants to do a private adoption. I am unable to have children but I want one so bad we been trying for 5 years. I am going to go though the adoption process but that could take forever. I am just wondering if anyone knows of anyone or anywhere you could find out about private adoptions.

With private domestic adoption the wait is unpredictable, but it can be quick. We started looking into adoption in Feb, chose an agency a month or two later, had our paperwork approved by mid august, and brought our child home from the hospital on new year's eve. So it can happen. In part it depends on how open you are to various adoption situations (ethnicity etc).
We use our agency to do outreach for us, and also registered with several websites for matching online. That is how the mother found us, only two weeks before our daughter was born. There can be scams etc. online, but we went into it with our eyes open, and it worked well for us, and our child's mother. |

Try google to narrow it down to your area and start collecting numbers. It may take some time to find the right one, but it's less tedious than phone books or word-of-mouth. Good luck! |
