Where can i get adoption papers?

My parents are willing to sign over the adoptions papers to them, considering the fact that my parents kicked me out of my house at 14 now it's been 5 months and i'm 15. But neither my actual parents or the people who want to adopt me know how to proceed. Their shouldn't be any court battle because they both agree. Any idea what our options are and where to get started?

Get a free consultation from an attorney in your area Well not you the parents who are willing to adopt you. This attorney will advise them of the cost of adoption which is normally in the $2000.00 range if it is uncontested. They then pay for the adoption and the attorney fills out the paper work and the court gets served you get served the adoptive parents get served your parents go to the court house and sign all rights to you away. Sometimes this happens at the juvenile facility. The paper signing. Then you and the new adoptive parents go to court the judge decides if they need a home study or he grants the adoption. It is as easy as that. |

like the others have said, a lawyer needs to be involved. But there is alot more to it than just getting papers. The adoptive parents have to be approved by the state to adopt. Background checks and interviews and lots of paper work. And money. They might easier to have them just become legal guardians. |

Adoption is a legal process. Both families will need to contact an attorney so that the paperwork can be done properly and legally. |
