Where in the world is it easiest to adopt a child?

The US; anything can be bought in the US. For enough money, adoption attorneys and agencies will find you the baby you always dreamed of (bonus for PaPs if the child is of a different race) and life will be beautiful all the time.

Most western European countries, Canada and the US are very easy to adopt in. I'd advise you to PLEASE consider adopting from foster care if you're looking to adopt. Foster children are the ones that truly need loving homes. Aside from that, it's usually free or very inexpensive, and though it comes with a lot of paperwork and hoops to jump through, so too does private infant adoption.

Please do not support the unethical practices of basically buying off infants by going through so-called agencies.
A few of these are legit, yes, but many are not and use less-than-ethical, shall we say, tactics on birth mothers. And potential adoptive parents do not always know which agencies are legit, and which aren't, because they all present the same rosy image to potential adoptive parents.

Im not sure anywhere has a quick fix...and there shouldnt be anywhere that does!! Adoption is a serious business, its not about easy!!

Oh my what an easy question! Why, at Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland of course!

easiest for whom? You???
Why would you be concerned with ease? So people won't know you adopted? Or, do you have a criminal history? Check with a foreign service, especially one who deals with stolen kids, like Guatemala. There's a lot of black market babies there. Hope you have a lot of cash, though. Or, you could always call Madonna- she steals babies and can give you a few tips.
Ease. Geeze.

There is no "easy road" in adoption. If you want easy and immediate then adoption is not for you. It's not an easy road for any of the parties concerned- biological or adoptive families.

You still end up paying fees, you still need a homestudy with criminal check, you still have to prove your finances and health (and what health check is done depends on your state). If you adopt internationally there is more red tape and you could wait a LONG time depending on the country. Those require extended travel, more paper work and checks and working with a foreign system that may stop adoptions at any time for any reason- even if all your paper work is cleared and in.

They don't call adoption an emotional roller coaster for no reason. It is rarely an easy fix and it is even more rarely "fast".

Adoption is difficult for a reason.

Not everyone should adopt. It's a sad but true fact, not everyone is a decent parent and should be allowed to adopt a kid.

That's why it's difficult, so that kids don't wind up with bad or mediocre parents.

Adoption can also be very hard for an adoptee. Parents need to take the time to realize and prepare for the problems that the adoptee is currently facing and will face once they are adopted.

At any rate, it takes 9 months to have your own baby, and a lot of times it can take much longer if you don't concieve right away. Adoption doesn't have to be any quicker than that.
