Why not include an abortion catergory just like they did an adoption one?

Abortion is something that alot of women go through and has to do with pregnancy so why not include it as well?

Just curious

By the way i have not had an abortion but i am not against it either.

I wish they would, then people would stop posting abortion advice questions in the trying to conceive forum, which I find particularly offensive, because we're a bunch of gals trying hard to have a baby. I guess I mean to say I'm not against abortion, I just wish yahoo could direct the questions into their own category.

Because there's no real solution to debating it.
Everyone has such strong opinions about it that just asking questions like this makes everyone upset.

You see more thumbs up and down for abortion questions than you do with almost everything else.

Probably because anyone who posted in that category would get reported or harassed by all of the self righteous degenerates who want to preach to strangers about situations that they have never been in. :)

if there was such a section, how many people do you think would go there and call these young women "baby killers" its like an open door for the trolls, and it is a very touchy topic to begin with.
I did give my only daughter up for adoption but it was the best thing i ever did and i did think about abortion but in the end i got to see her beautiful face and let a family who couldn't have kids raise her, what more could i ask for.

I guess cause the issue of abortion is more controversial than adoption. If an abortion category was to be included, it should strictly be for counselling measures.

Because I can't raise an aborted child.

Amanda
Because it's too controversial. Besides, any questions about that can be asked in pregnancy.

Granny 1
Probably because its such a touchy subject

Abortion is a stigma for many people, it's not right to exploit it.

blue eyes
Maybe it is too controversial.

Why do people uphold adoption? Let me see……………… hmmm maybe its because in adoption the child actual gets to live and have a life.

If someone who has an abortion needs counseling they don’t need to seek it on Yahoo answers.

I think it's because the people who designed Yahoo Answers naively thought it would be used by people who wanted information or advice. The abortion discussion is mostly just people sniping at each other. Everyone knows what he thinks. Nobody is looking for information, only to support his own pre-existing opinion. R&S is bad enough! 8^)

I agree that there should be an abortion option as well as one for gay parenting. Those are two big issues that a lot of people have questions about. It would also save pro-life people from having to read "should I have an abortion" or " I am having an abortion" on the pregnancy section.

Maud The Skivvy
Because adoption is nice and abortion is for losers who can't control their impulses and use contraception.

How many different types of contraception are there out there? Oh, yeah, loads, but people are still too thick to choose one and use it properly.
