make it harder to join on with things like insurrance and cell phone bills ? I'm sure it's a stupid question but .. my bio. mom died when I was 5, and my dad was an abuser so me and my 2 sisters went to live with my aunt and uncle. Now they have 6 other kids. We feel like we are part of the family, and we are in every way except legally. Does this affect me being able to join on with things like this, even if we all live under one roof ? (I'm 14 at the moment)

No, the Fact is that you are a member of the family and the household.
I am (was) an insurance agent and when it comes to insurance living in the household is what matters. Minors can't sign contracts for cell phones and as an adult I can sign a contract for anyone I want!
Your aunt and uncle are Family and they are your guardians they don't have to adopt you in order to raise you.

Nope, as long as they claim you as their own and you live in their house it wont make any difference. |

I think the insurance might be a little harder depending on the stipulations with in the policy. Cell phones and other things are no problem. |
