I am going to eventually write a book about the adoption experience from the child's point of view. (I was adopted as an infant from Europe) I did a paper on the topic of adolescents who were adopted in college, and I am collecting data (protecting the identity of all) and stories.

I was adopted as a child in 1990. I grew up with issues, mainly because I knew my younger siblings were still with our birthmom at the time, and I couldn't understand why we weren't together. I was also confused because I had actually met her during the last visit and I knew I came from her, but I couldn't understand why she didn't want me. |
