No. The internet is a bad medium for adoption arrangements. |

No. You don't "really" know who anyone is on here. |

Just a Mom

No way. The only people trying to do that are ridiculous and drive me crazy. |

NO!
Just make up another account and claim to be a pregnant woman who is looking for parents for her unborn child and see how many offers you get, that will tell you who the real sicko's are! |

How many emails have you received from p a p's? That should give you the answer you're looking for.
I wouldn't adopt a baby from anyone, unless they were in my family, because it's wrong. |

"Michelle" would. She sends emails regularly to posters hoping they're giving away kids that day. Sick ****. |

I would only adopt from foster care, personally.
To anyone considering making an adoption plan with a stranger from the internet: please DON'T! You're setting yourself up for potential danger and illegality. What if the person offering to adopt your child is actually a predator looking for a victim? What if the person offering you a baby to adopt is a scammer, who may not really be pregnant, and may not even be female? On the internet, you just can't know if people are really being honest with you.
Please only adopt or place a child through your state or a reputable agency. |

anyone who is willing to let someone they met on the internet adpot their baby is a horrible person.... you dont know who is on the other end of that screen... if someone asked me to adopt their baby off the internet i would report them and see what is going on in that household... |
|

Not Adopted

The baby already has parents, those who created him/her. Your niece is the mother, why not support her in keeping the baby? |

They are probably desperate and want a newborn.
In my opinion they are asking to get scammed and deserve it for being such a predator. |

No. I would never do solicitous adoption. I would only adopt from foster care.
I don't even share my personal email with anyone here, and I quite like you, so adopting a child might seem a bit forward. |

I would after talking to them alot and meeting with them. |

Of course. I'm smart enough to realize that people aren't always what they claim to be online...and I certainly would need a lot more information provided through face-to-face contact (and anything else that might be recommended by an adoption attorney I trusted such as background checks)...and I'd expect the birth mother/parents to have me thoroughly investigated as well. But I don't see how chance meeting through Y!A, the Internet in general, at a gas station or any other way would affect my interest in adopting a child that was available. |

No... creepy! Put an ad in the newspaper instead! |

Absolutely. I would ask them lots of questions (and expect them to do the same with me) and if we seem to be compatible matches then I would arrange to meet with the birth family. |
