if you grew up knowing your biomothers adopted children would they be your siblings?
Find answers to your legal question.

if you grew up knowing your biomothers adopted children would they be your siblings?

sorry for asking the same question twice.
i asked if your biomother adopted children would they be your siblings. some people said no because there's no legal ties, no biology and no shared history.
so what if you'd had an open adoption and grown up having contact with your biomother and her children. would they be siblings then? if not, what would they be? cousins? step siblings? friends?

My first dad adopted a baby 4 years after relinquishing me. I do not consider his Ason any relation to me.

They would be my first Mom's adopted children. I would be friendly to them, but that's really it. I would not consider them to be siblings of any sort.

I think for each person it would be different. Every person looks at relationships different so that would be why it would be different foe each individual. What works for me might not work for some one else. So it would just really depend.

Legally nothing. As for personally depends on the person and how open the adoption is

In my opinion, if you care about somebody as much as your own flash and blood, then that's considered family in my opinion. You should meet my family. Jeff, Jake, Riley, Andy, Justin, Allissa, Ty,Chris, Mac, Oozu, Kelly, Dylan, Jacob, those are some of my friends and I consider them family.

Honestly, if she adopted a really hot girl then I'd probably try to hook up with her if she was interested.

So what if we knew each other as kids. Who cares what a piece of paper with fabrications on it said or what adopters want.

yes, my adopted brothers are my siblings... in fact i care for and love them much more than my biological siblings... they are my children's uncles, my husband's brothers-in-law, my mother's children... we are a family regardless of how little history ties us together

Robbie
If they were legally adopted, then they should be treated and have the same rights as if they were your blood siblings.
