They do not get automatically dual citizenship. The French laws are quite clear on this if one of the parent is French the child has a right to a French passport. But if both parents don't hold a French passport you have to register the child with the Indian Embassy in Paris.

The child will be an Indian citizen. Unlike the United States, France does not recognise unqualified jus soli, where merely birth in the territory grants citizenship. The child will be French only if at least one parent is a French citizen. The child may apply for French citizenship upon attaining majority at the age of 18 if he or she is resident in France at that time and has been resident for a total of at least 5 years after the age of 11. In such a case, however, he or she must renounce Indian citizenship as India does not recognise dual citizenship.

French Citinzenship but if you live in India then you can put a little extra effort to get a Indian passport or citizenship.
