I want to work for an embassy and be able to travel the world through my work.
How do I go about it? Do I need a degree? If so, what major suits this field? What do I need to prepare for the Officer's exam? Is there a step by step process to take?
FYI, I am a US Citizen, in college and bilinguil.

Technically, you don't NEED a college degree to join the Foreign Service, but practically speaking, the skills you learn in college are necessary to helping you pass the test.
If you're not interested in foreign policy, per se (I'm surprised you even questioned the need for college), check out the web site I provided. There are tons of opportunities in computers, finance, etc, that would send you around the world as a "Foreign Service Specialist." |
