A woman in Senegal wants my help.?

This woman is senegal asked me to help her she says shes in a refugee camp and she wants me to come and visit her and help her get out of where she is. She's 24 years old and im 16 how do i help her without giving anyone any information???

As noted, it's a very common scam. you don't know anything about anyone over the internet. It's entirely possible that this person isn't even a woman, much less a refugee. you also don't know this person is even in Senegal. now that you've answered it though, you should expect to hear from lots of other folks with horrible problems and exciting offers to share their wealth with you. I get them all the time and I've never even written any of them. |

How did she find you?
This sounds like a scam, plain and simple, I expect that within a few days she will ask you to send a small amount for "food" or "medical supplies" - if you do, she will then ask for more.
Talk it over with your parents, they may suggest you contact one of the many refugee organizations, or you could contact a local church that deals with them.
I seriously doubt this is genuine, or even that it is a woman, I'm glad you are so kind hearted but think someone is trying to scam you. |

If you answered back even once, be prepared to have your Inbox innundated with other people with sob stories all asking for money. She is a scammer
If you really want to help refugees, make a donation directly to the UN High Commission for Refugees - you can donate on their site and you know this money will go directly to refugee camps in places like Senegal
