i got news from my friend, that all medias are aginst Hindus.Because they either belong to christians or Muslims.

Hindu and Indian Express are very much Indian media. While Express was known for candid criticism of govt lapses, Hindu was more benign in its criticism but both national dailies maintain decency and decorum .. as they do not carry mere sensational news or scandalise.. most serious topics are discussed through experts, rationally and responsibly..
But the old standards of daring aggressiveness against atrocities of the society / govt officials / extremists etc are slowly eroded and a govt / minority (over)friendly approach is generally seen in all media, for obvious favours of the rich govt ads or fear of the risk of facing the ire of the extremist (fundamentalist) outfits.. as they could take up wild protests to damage property and invariably escape (with police support)..
However glaring lapses already getting public resistance are discussed "boldly" by these champions of free expression..! Both these are not known for hindu baiting or hate campaign.. though they also do not present the Hindu side of the problems in detail and a mild minority bias consistent with contemporary fashion to earn the (pseudo) secular label is conspicuous..!!
Result: Objectivity is sacrificed though with lesser intention of playing someone's card, than is the case with foreign dominated media.. Only violent and noisy groups catch the attention over the more civilised expressions of dissent by the public.
I would say that this dilusion of professional integrity in the traditionally standard media had emboldened the deviants in public life to boldly carry on unethical practices.. On the other hand many unprincipled media aggressively carry on discriminatory and distorted info to serve the causes of vested interests.. enjoying the patronage of the rulers and various interest groups..! |
