Already have tourist Visa, want Religious workers visa for U.S.A.?

I'm in India and have been to U.S. as a tourist. My tourist VISA expires 9 years from now but I would like to go back and work in a christian organization I became familiar with in my last visit. Is there a possibility to carry two VISAs for U.S.? How much is the fee to apply and what advantages do I get while in U.S. (like DL, Social Security Card, Insurance and buying property/house)???? Please help.

It is a US based organization and they know my qualification. They need me to work for them and are not just some people I know but my friends and extd. family. Do these factors matter? How much minimum should be the support for my living expenses? Any idea?

It's possible to have more than 1 visa in different categories. However, the R1 visa would require your organization file a petition for you through USCIS. It would have to be approved, send to the Kentucky Consular Center and then electronic approval would go out to the nearest embassy or consulate. Until that point, you wouldn't even be able to apply for the visa.

You cannot apply for a religious worker visa. Only religious organizations can apply for this visa for its workers. It is a temporary visa, and the organization has to guarantee your living expenses, etc, while you are working for the organization. This does not necessarily mean you get a salaried position, just that they have to provide for all your living expenses.

If you are talking about a US-based organization that you became familiar with while in the US, it is highly unlikely that they will sponsor a foreign worker. You are not affiliated with them or work for them.
