hello , am a green card holder , i come to usa just 9 months before , my gf is in india , if now i will marry her there and apply for her , then how much time it will take her to come usa ,
is there any other way she can reach here , plz suggest me , i love here to much

After you marry your girlfriend, you can return to the US and file a petition for her. Since you are an LPR, her immigrant category is F2A, for which the backlog right now is about four and a half years. Keep an eye on the monthly Visa Bulletin:

Around 4-5 years for the visa (applicant number) to become current plus another year for the whole process ( figer printing, bio, interview etc). So you have to wait 5 years
She can always apply for a visitor visa to come and visit you and then she can leave. She can apply for a student visa if she wants to come here and study.
On the other hand if you become a citizen and apply the process is much faster. |
