Any one know if i need to repay for passport?

I was issued with a 2 year passport in 2005 after i realised my old passport was out of date..well, i paid the full fee plus an extra €50 for new one to be issued quickly as needed it asap..i am now in the need to get another passport but don't know if i need to pay the full fee again or do i just send in old emergency one?

I've e-mailed the passport office but so far no reply and the damn offices are closed at the moment so can't phone them-just wanted to see if anyone had already gone through a similar process..

i would think that you would have to pay for a full 10 year passport.

You should be able to renew the passport you have.

yes, everytime you get a passport you need to pay. THere might be lower fees if you are getting a re-newal, but either way, you have to pay.

Your passport is valid for 10yrs, why do you need another one? if you have lost the old one or have to replace because its out of date you have to pay.there are different prices to collect from passport office fast track and normal which takes about three weeks, as you know if you want it quickly you have to pay.check the date on your passport I am sure you will find its valid for 10 yrs

Unfortunately you will have to pay again - my husband has just renewed his passport and had to pay Â£72 for the privilege!
