Applying for EU citizenship with an "unfixable" outstanding warrant in US?

If a person applies for a citizenship in a EU country based on marriage; however, has an outstanding warrant in US issued by a family court, but cannot come back and fix it because his green card is expired - will the person get the citizenship if tells the truth about his past and still "pending" troubles?

I think your question needs to be more informative, as this is a very complex area.

If you're applying for citizenship to an EU country, I'm assuming you already have permanent residency? I would say it depends a lot on which country you're from, and which of the EU countries you apply for citizenship. If you have an outstanding warrant in the US however, you may bump into some trouble, and I would probably try to find an immigration attorney.
