My four year old son was born with no father. There is no father on his birth certificate. Since my sons birth I have married and we are planning to take a family vacation to Central America. How would I get a passport for my son?

BTW - I am an American Citizen and my husband is a citizen of El Salvador. The "bio-father" of my son is basically non existent. How would a victim of multiple rape handle a situation like this?

go to the US passport and read article 2 trough 7 ,
you must appear in person with the child when applying for it.

Apply for it, and just put your name on it.

There should be spot of extra info on the form, explain that the father is unknown.
