Absolutely, yes. Permanent resident status has no bearing on entry requirements. As a national of India, in order to enter Belize, you must secure a visa, pay the appropriate fees and also obtain clearance from the Director of Immigration. Contact the nearest Belizian Embassy, or the Belize Immigration and Nationality Department, Belmopan, Cayo District, Belize, Central America, Telephone 011-501-822-2423, Fax: 011-501-822-2662.

Passport (must be valid for period of intended stay) required.
Visa required.
Repatriation fee of BZD 1,200.- payable on arrival.
Minors: up to/incl. 16 years:
- passport not required provided their names are registered in passport of accompanying person;
- traveling with only one parent or guardian are required to
have a notarized letter from the (other) parent authorizing
the travel of the child with the accompanying
parent/guardian.
Passenger must hold:
- USD 50.- per day; and
- return or onward ticket; and
- all other documents required for next destination.
Those of foreign nationality born in Belize may travel on a
one-way ticket.
Non-compliance with entry regulations may result in fines for
carrier varying from USD 500.- to USD 2,500.-. Passenger will be deported to point of origin. |
