I am currently a US citizen. I'm only 18, and i don't attend university. I'm an artist and a musician, but i've just started out, and haven't gone far (aka no money). I hate the US and want to move to the UK, but i feel there is no possible way for me to do this.
I don't have money to go to uni, so i can't apply for student visa. I'm really not sure if there is any way i can get there. Because i'm only an artist and a musician, i of course don't have the qualifications for a work visa or work permit.
My only connection to the UK through ancestry is through my great grandparents, which of course doesn't help me at all.
I feel like i'm just going to be stuck here, miserable...
Is there any way at all i still have a chance of moving to the UK?
i wish i could just move work and live like normal for the 5 years i have to be there to apply, but i can't work unless i have a work visa.
:( i need help....

You have limited work choices, go back to school or wait until you are more stable financially. |

No you can not have British citizenship. You are only eligible if your parent(s) were born in the UK. This right only goes down one generation, that would have been one of your grandparents not great grandparents |

It`s getting harder all the time, to get into the uk - even for a temporary stay let alone to live here. Sorry, but this is the stark truth. We are very over-crowded and our citizens are complaining,...and our Government is listening and taking action. |
