British embassy in nigeria discrimination?

My brother holds a valid trinidadian passport,our dad is a native trinidadian who lives there,we have both been to trinidad as kids twice
how come they wont grant him a visitor in transit visa,to fly thru london to trinidad?there are NO direct flights from nigeria to trinidad,all flights are transits thru amsterdam or london via klm and virgin atlantic.
He has bought his ticket on virgin,but his tansit visa application has been denied twice...I think that the staff in the british embassy lagos are biased becasue he holds a valid trinidadian passport,and the probably think that he is like other fraudulent nigerians who run away on transit flights
Someone in the british embassy please help we have spent a lot of money and time so far no resolution

Yes,mz blue I know all about nigerian 419,I grew up in Nigeria and left in 2000,the british embassy has not explained their denial of the tranist(for God sakes)visa.
I don't think lufthansa flies to trinidad and tobago,our options are limimted on which airlines fly there from Lagos,nigeria
klm has also told my brother that he won't make the trip,even after he provided a letter from the freaking trinidadain consulate in Nigeria.
I am thinking of trying air france which flies to martinique about 30 mins from trinidad

I think you have an idea of how nigerian 419 can be and the world has come to know of it. maybe having the trinidadian passport raises suspicion but the thing is it's hard for embassies like the U.S and british to give visas to nigerians.
Why don't you look into a flight via lufthansa to germany or even amsterdam. I know it's easy to get a transit visa through frankfurt, i'm not sure if it's easy when it comes to the German embassy in nigeria.
