Helo is right. You need to get in contact with the American Citizens Services Section at the US embassy. The more you can tell them about your brother, the easier it will be to find him. Details like, when was the last time you heard from him, did you have an address, a phone number, a hotel name. His full name, date of birth, passport number if you have it. Now, if they actually do find him, he'll have to give them permission to tell you about it, because he is entitled to his privacy. If he doesn't want them to tell you, legally, they won't be able to. Bangkok's a big place and maybe he isn't even there any more. But, there's no shortage of Westerners wandering about, and no shortage of tempting reasons to stay. I spent 3 years there myself. |
