Can I get a visa for Syria when I fly into Syria?

I am flying from London into Syria for a 6 day holiday. Can I get a visa at the airport when I arrive? If not, what is the easiest way?

You can get the visa in Damascus International Airport, it costs $ 50 but you'll wait for 2 hours in the airport.
And some airlines won't let you get on their planes unless you got the visa, like Cyprus Airlines.
You can go to the Syrian Embassy in London, And they will give you the visa in the same day you requested for it.

You should contact the consulate or just call the Center for International Business Travel.
It all depends on what type of passport you hold.
But no, for most situations I do not believe you can.
