It would be hard for India to match US's standard because of the existing India culture. Due to some religous belief which hinders India's development.

No, not is 5 to 10 years, but perhaps in about 25 years.
Once India gets its act together and makes good infrastructure then perhaps things will start to move in the right direction, until that happens India will still be a third world country!

Not in 5 to 10 years it might take 20 to 25 year. Still a huge number of people live below poverty line.

Not for another 50+ yrs!! Way too much corruption and poverty, unemployment's, brain drains!! A lot needs to be changed before India can think to compare itself to USA. Roman wasn't built in a day you know! It will take time but one day India will meet the standards of USA!
