Can anyone advise me on how to renew ?

I would like to renew my passport can some one advise me how to is there a website on this sort of matter

If you live in the U.K, you can get all the information and advice you need from the "Identity and Passport Sevices" website, or call them on 0870-5210410.
Outside the U.K. you should consult the nearest or main British Embassy. If you need an emergency passport, you might have to go directly to the Embassy. Otherwise you can download the forms and fees from their websites and do it by post. Their websites are easy to search - for example, just type "British Embassy Tokyo" into the search box and you get there promptly.
I am in the process of renewing mine at the moment. Be warned - the new "biometric" 10 year passports cost 91 quid! And the photo rquirements are a horror show!
Apparently the process takes about 10 days, but they advise you to apply about a month in advance. I'm way behind, my passport expires on the 6th of November, and I can't send my forms and fees to them until the 7th ... I don't think they penalise you for it! I'm not planning to go anywhere in November, anyway, but if you are thinking of making a trip soon, you should start working on it now.
