I am currently in London and we are getting married in Brazil next month. If I get stationed back in the states and her regular visa is still being processed, can she get a tourist visa to be with me for a while?

No, once you have visa processing, especially a 129f visa. She needs to stay in her country until the visa is approved. Your process time should be 6-8 months. If you get married b-4 this process is complete you'll have to start over with an I130 visa. But, once you get here here you have to get married within 90days. Good luck |

I don't think it matters because a tourist visa probably doesn't take much less time than a regular visa...
and they're not likely to give her a tourist visa because her being married to you will be considered evidence that she will not want to leave the U.S. when her visa expires. |

Maybe, if she can convince the interviewing officer that she will visit the US only for short periods and will apply in London (or wherever) for her immigrant visa in the usual, correct manner. It's called "dual intent." |

Not if she is married when she applies. They will ask her if she intends to immigrate, if she is planning to stay, then she doesn't qualify for a tourist visa, which is by definition temporary. Apply now for a fiance (k) visa I-129. That can get approved in a couple months and she can come into the country with that and then apply for permanent residence through your marriage.
