Can you take internal flights in the USA without a visa just using Visa Waver Program (VWP)?

UK Citizen
Only going for around 70 days next year. I'm starting of in San Fransico and heading to NYC with a few stops and want to fly inbetween, are you aloud to fly internally without a visa? i can't see why you wouldn't be.

Yes Once Your admitted into The United States You can Fly Unlimited within the Country.When Flying Domestically Airlines Don't Check Your Visa,Just a Photo ID which in Your Case would be Your Passport.
Just Make sure Your Passport is Machine readable and with an Electronic chip,That You complete Your ESTA form before entering the USA and that you return Your Visa waiver form upon leaving the USA.

Yes you can use as many planes as you like as long as you don't fly out of the country. Once you have gone through immigration control on entry all flights are just domestic.

A visa is only required for entry to the USA. Since you do not require a Visa for entry, no.
Edit: I mean no visa is required.
