Hi we recently got our canadian medical test my dad was a heart patient operated by by pass but now his fine and just on medication...recently we went for X-ray and came to know he has Nimonia...and doctor wants him to go for treatment before reports are been send but he has already send my mums and my report...will that be ok or give us problems because the doctor is writting a letter to the canadian high commission that my dad is not well...can you please help me and advise me

Pneumonia can be treated. Better start your dad on the regimen soonest. This is what is going to happen. If and when the CHC gets your medical report, they may issue your visas but withhold your dad's visa until he has a clean bill of health. (unless he is the principal applicant) Or you may request that the visas be issued together. Here is the problem, you must enter Canada before the expiration of the visa OR before the end of the one year validity of the medicals, whichever is earlier. (visa validity is usually 6 months from issue) So the validity of your medical begins while your father is still on treatment. |

if the Doctor wrote that your father needs health care? that he must go under treatments before going to Canada.
it will not give you any problems ,but he needs to comply with the Doctor. |
