If I went overseas and didnt tell centrelink. what are the chances of me being found out and having to repay the pension?

I had a relative who did the same thing, they found out as they have descretion to go through bank records and immigration .. etc .. they cut her payments and she has to now pay it back (when she gets home) .. They always seem to catch up with you somehow ..
