Do I really have to leave N. Ireland after 90 days when passport runs out?
I came here from America to take care of a sick friend. He is still very ill and I hate to leave yet. I wonder if there is any way to extend my visit? The U.S.embassey in London's phone number is too jammed to help me yet. I really thank you fine people if you can help me Additional Details I was told I could only stay 90 days from time I entered the UK. My passport is brand new and expires in many years from now.

the US consulate cannot help you with this matter, it concerns the N. Ireland country only, they are the ones deciding about visas and visits into N.Ireland, not the US, the soil belongs to N.Ireland not the US.
yes; you must leave when you entry for 90 days will expire.
it is a free service as visa waiver not to overlap, in any way and manners.
your passport has nothing to do with your stay, and usually you may not leave the US and enter another country will less than 6 months left of validity on your passport, it is the law ,
do not think you may allow yourself to overstay, you will be breaking the law.
you could leave and go no further in a country in Europe, and staying a while, if you could afford it? and perhaps returning to N. Ireland,
i sincerely do not advise it ? but you may decide to do so?
a visa waiver is a free entry to a country within the waiver program.rembember ? you are a guest there.and,no they are no extension of visa free entry ,in no country in the world; visa have a specific reason, return home, and ask for a visa longer than 90 days and other than using a tourist visa .
please do not overstay, you may see yourself barred from future entry into N.Ireland.and by the same into entering other countries as well ;you will be breaking the law . if you wish to ask something else? do so by editing your question , by clicking under your question, it has a little pencil where you may click and add?
will come back to your question tomorrow. |

Do you mean a visa? As you can not travel on an expired passport. |

While going to the Republic of Ireland and then returning may appear to be an obvious solution, it is not going to work, as the Republic forms part of a common travel area in which you were granted leave to remain for 90 days. http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/lawandpolicy/immigrationrules/part1
It looks as though you need to apply for a visa extension.
Can the US Consulate in Belfast help? http://www.usembassy.org.uk/nireland/ |

Im not 100% sure but I think you can just go to the Republic of Ireland for a few days then come back to N. Ireland again for another 90 days. Check it out but I think you can.
