Does Greenland have its own passport?

Stan P
I cannot believe all of the ignorant answers here!

Greenland is a possession of Denmark.

Greenlanders use Danish passports as they are citizens of Denmark. So, there is no such thing as a Greenland passport.

The regulations for Tourist and Business visas are the same as for Denmark. Visitors should specify that they wish to visit Greenland when they make their application to the Danish Embassy. Special permits are necessary for persons wishing to transit in Pittuffik (Thule Airbase), as it is a North Atlantic Territory. Further information and application requirements may be obtained from the Nordic Countries, Faroe Islands and Greenland Office at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Asiatisk Plads 2, DK-1448 Copenhagen, Denmark

Greenland is a part of the Kingdom of Denmark, so it doesn't have its own passports

They're a self-governing province of Denmark, actually.
I'm not sure, that's a good question..

Greenland (Greenlandic: Kalaallit Nunaat, meaning "Land of the Kalaallit (Greenlanders)"; Danish: Grønland IPA:, meaning "Greenland") is a self-governing Danish province located between the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans. Though geographically and ethnically an Arctic island nation associated with the continent of North America, politically and historically Greenland is closely tied to Europe, specifically Norway and Denmark. It is the largest island in the world that is not also considered a continent.

here is the official home page of Grenland gov.

Greenland is a self-governing dependency of Denmark.
The monarch of Denmark is also head of state of Greenland. She is represented by a High Commissioner, appointed by her. The Prime Minister is elected by Parliament and leads the Landsstyre.

therefore the passport is danish.
