Does an egyptian citazen need a visa to come to cyprus??

My botfriend wants to come and live in cyprus with me wot type of visa does he need and how can he get his??

i've been there a years ago, He needs a visa for sure but he can get it in the airport and doesn't matter which nationality, and that will be a visit visa for 3 months, but to live there he should contact the immegration office, anyway its easy

Yes! Egyptians need visas to go anywhere even Rwanda!!
Cyprus is partially Turkey and other part Greece and an Egyptian will need a visa to get to any of this two countries!!
The only country that allows Egyptian to go without visa is Libya...sad enough!!

To get it depends what part of Cyprus you live in, if it is North, he needs to go to the Turkish Embassy. If you live in the south, he will need to get a Greeks visa which is more difficult. Good luck to both of you!

He will definately need a visa to stay in Cyprus. If you are a citizen of Cyprus and you are planning of getting married then he will be able to stay. Otherwise he needs to find an employer to apply for him or he needs to be a college student.

To Abularaby: Cyprus is not part of Greece nor Turkey. Cyprus is an independent country full member of the EU. The northern part of the island is illegaly occupied by the Turkish army since 1974.
